2. Isn't all this information
public and readily available?
- Yes and No. Most all of the information in MailingAide
brand gallery lists is publicly available. But, gathering/using
the information found on web-directories and individual gallery
sites is difficult and time consuming. With our lists, you can
quickly and easily create targeted mailings to galleries you seek
representation from. Or, you can use the complete list to create
general awareness and buzz about your work in a larger art community.
Buy our list as a base and customize it even further to suit your
needs. Add our lists to your own list; it's up to you.
3. Why is your list so cheap?
Other sites sell similar lists for more money!?!
- Our list has been designed for use by artists
seeking gallery representation. We've strived to make the list
affordable and useful to all working artists; those just starting
out, and those in need of a career boosting resource.
4. What do I get when I buy
a MailingAide list?
- You will get a set of
files. The specific file formats are determined at purchase.
Some list vendors sell pre-printed labels or protected files
that can only be used once, etc. We are not those vendors. You
can buy our list and use it to send a mailing to Chicago today,
and New York next month. You can add to the files, subtract from
them, and use them over and over. The only stipulations for use
are listed on the “terms of use” page. (Your
purchase of any list product from our site implies acceptance
of the terms of use.)
5. What if I can't get the
files to work properly?
- We Guarantee file compatibility. If you are
having trouble opening one of the files purchased on our site,
our customer service staff will do it's best to resolve your issues.
6. Do I need special software
to use the list?
- If you are purchasing the list in Microsoft
Excel and/or Word format, you will need a copy of Microsoft Excel
or Microsoft Word in order to use the list. Other applications
may read these documents, but we cannot guarantee compatibility
with such applications. If you are buying a PDF compatible file,
you will need to acquire a copy of Adobe Acrobat reader. This is
available for free from Adobe.com
7. Do you guarantee the accuracy
of the list information?
- All of our information sources are assumed reliable. We have
done a significant amount of fact checking to assure that the information
in our lists is accurate, current, and useful today. However, due
to the nature of the art world and high turnover in commercial
gallery ownership/location, we cannot guarantee that each listing
is 100% accurate. If you find an inaccuracy, please contact us
so we can update the list.
8. How often is your list
updated? What happens if I buy the list just before an update?
- We update our lists every 6-12 months. Because of the high turnover
in the Art world, commercial gallery information changes regularly.
If we update the list within 2 weeks (14 days) of your purchase,
we will send you the updated list free of charge.
9. How do I get my gallery
added to your list?
-MailingAide lists are generated by artists, for artists. We have
collected our information from sources we deem useful and reliable.
Our galleries listings are 99% commercial. They have been individually
selected to maintain a desired quality level. Please DO NOT contact
us with requests for inclusion into the list.
